William Shatner Sets Phasers for “Debunk” and PWNs John Edward

Posted by mattusmaximus on January 16, 2010

During my random Friday-night web surfing, I stumbled across this little gem that I had to share.  William Shatner (who played Captain Kirk on Star Trek) is interviewing psychic charlatan John Edward on his show “Shatner’s Raw Nerve” and definitely had his phasers set for “debunk”.  Check these clips out! 😀

“Is it possible you’re psychotic, not psychic?”

“John, it’s woo woo.”

Mr. Shatner, this one’s for you!!!

John Edward is such a piece of scum. Nice to see Shatner has a good head on his shoulders.

Not exactly damning evidence or amazing confession is it.

  5. I loved it! My kids and I have been lovers since we were adoloscents. I loved how the characters met and developed their friendship. The decision of young actors was perfectyoung Kirk and Spock, excellent! I can’t wait for the next Star Trek.

I love Shatner’s Raw Nerve. He’s a great listener and that makes him a great interviewer!

The Captain seemed very fair and non-judgemental dealing with the scoundrel Edwards. It was easy to see between the lines that Shatner was not convinced. Seemed to me that he REALLY wanted to say the truth, but to do so would have been rude to his guest. Shatner is a gentleman.
